1. Scope and responsible company
This policy is provided by Shenzhen Star Seeker Software Co., Ltd and covers Sky Realm Idle distributed through the Mac App Store and related customer support. “We” and “us” refer to this company.
Editions sold through other stores may include different platform features. The local-storage and no-upload statements in this policy specifically describe the Mac App Store edition.
2. No automatic data collection or uploads to us
This edition does not require a game account, include advertising, advertising tracking or third-party analytics SDKs, or upload saves, Mods, gameplay usage records or local logs to us. We do not sell personal information through the game or track you across apps or websites.
Game progress, settings, local Mods, editor data and diagnostic logs are stored on your Mac to provide game features, remember preferences and troubleshoot local issues.
3. Local files and permissions
When you choose to import saves, Mods or media, the game uses the macOS file picker to access the files or folders you select and reads or copies them into local application storage as needed. Exports are saved to a location you choose. These actions do not send the files to us.
The game does not request access to contacts, location, the camera or the microphone. You may cancel file selection or manage file access in macOS System Settings where applicable.
4. Information you send to support
If you contact us by email or a community channel you choose, we receive information you provide, such as your email address, display name, message and any attached device details, screenshots, logs or saves. Please send only what is needed to resolve the issue, without passwords or unrelated sensitive information.
We use this information to respond, troubleshoot and handle privacy requests. We use it only as needed for those purposes and may process it through the email or community service carrying the communication; we do not use it for advertising tracking.
5. Apple and external services
App Store purchases, downloads and diagnostic information you choose to share through Apple's systems are handled by Apple under its rules and privacy policy. We do not obtain your payment card information through the game. This edition does not integrate Steam, Steam Cloud or Steam Workshop.
If you choose to visit our website, Discord or another external service, that service may process IP addresses, browser information, account details and communications under its own privacy policy. The game does not automatically send local saves or Mods to these services.
6. Retention, deletion and your choices
Local data remains on your device until you delete or reset it. You can reset game data in Settings, delete local Mods in the Mod editor and remove exported saves and backups yourself. Resetting progress does not necessarily remove all Mods, logs or device backups; contact us for help with a complete cleanup.
Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request, necessary follow-up or applicable legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized. You may email us below to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have provided, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We handle requests under applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
We cannot remotely access or delete data stored only on your Mac. Requests concerning information held by Apple, an email provider or a community platform may also need to be directed to that service.
7. Protection and children
We take reasonable measures to protect support information we receive and limit access to what is needed to handle requests. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
The game does not actively collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent personal information through support, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required.
8. Updates and contact
If game features or data practices change, we will update this page and its date and provide notice or seek consent where required.
